The B200 error common in your printer from Canon typically signifies your printer’s print head is dead! Before you throw away the printer or purchase an entirely new one, try one of these suggestions.
1. Take out all cartridges of ink and replace them with new ones.
2. Remove the print head and thoroughly clean the contacts made of gold within the printing head. When you reinstall the print head, ensure the connector for your ribbon cable is properly connected to the printer (this typically applies to earlier models).

4. Another option to consider is to reload your printer drivers since a malfunctioning driver can cause an error message.
5. Try switching off the printer and disconnecting it from the wall for at most two hours. Sometimes this will work.
6. If nothing else works, please adhere to the steps in this instructional video.
7. Purchase a brand new Print Head from Canon and install it yourself. this is not advised as it’s usually cheaper to purchase a new canon pixma IP7200 Error Code b200.

How about replacing the printhead?
Many people are attracted to their printer, and even when it’s close to death, they don’t want to give it up. Many people aren’t technologically adept and have spent years figuring out how to operate the device. They’re expensive and difficult to locate; however, even if they repair the printer, a two-year-old or older printer will face another issue shortly. Most often, the drive gear will break the waste ink pad, the ink tank will become full, or another printer component may fail.
